Accessibility
We here at The South of England Collectors and Gaming Convention are striving to be as inclusive as we possibly can be. Given that many of us ourselves face difficulties daily with both visible and invisible illnesses, we want to make this event as comfortable for you as we possibly can. Including FREE PARKING. The grounds themselves are all accessible (as much as grass can be). There are tarmac walkways all the way around the zones. On site we have various disabled access toilets with ramp access to the toilets and to all main buildings. The Norfolk Pavilion where we will be having the RPG and gaming zone has 2 floors, however there is a lift to access the first floor. We will also be providing a room on the ground floor for your needs if you need a private space. This can be utilized for taking medications in privacy, having a bit of quiet time if the day becomes overwhelming. Sitting and resting if you are in pain or need to rest before getting back out and enjoying the rest of your day. This room will be available to all access needs so we cannot guarantee that you will be the only people in there at one time, however, it is only for the use of additional needs guests. We must also point out that there will be staff upstairs working separately, however this will be at minimum disruption to you and your needs. We strive to be as helpful as we possibly can, please don’t hesitate to ask a member of staff if you need assistance, if it’s within our capabilities to help then we will absolutely be happy to do so. Our goal is to make this event welcoming and fun for absolutely everyone, and for everyone to have the best time making some wonderful memories. If you still have any access needs that you would like to discuss further before the event then please contact us by email: secgcevent@gmail.com and we aim to reply to you as soon as we can to resolve any queries.
Thank you and see you soon!
